Combining various forms of digital arts, these artists will collaborate in a manipulation of the space at the Eastern Bloc through the use of six projection screens, encapsulating the audience in waves of sound and video. The artists\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 works will travel from one screen to the other, in random sequences, creating an onslaught of sensory stimuli.<\/p>\n<p>Part I (May 29) is co-curated by Eliane Ellbogen (artistic director, Eastern Bloc) and Marie-Helene Parant (Share MTL &#8211; www.sharemtl.com). Part II (May 30) is curated by Eliane Ellbogen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SIGHTandSOUND: Part I<\/strong> will captivate its audience with 2 hours of experimental audiovisual explorations. The works presented will encompass an interactive, ambient, and minimal approach to audio and visual collaborations amongst the following artists:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.liberovskaya.net\">Katherine Liberovskaya<\/a> and Eric L\u00c3\u00a9tourneau;<br \/>\n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marieheleneparant.com\">Marie-H\u00c3\u00a9l\u00c3\u00a8ne Parant<\/a>, Angela di Lauro, and Fran\u00c3\u00a7ois Giroux;<br \/>\n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seej.net\">Chris Jordan<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooptel.qc.ca\/~maxime\">Maxime Rioux<\/a>;<br \/>\n <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.unitygain.org\/bio\/dl.html\">David Linton<\/a>;<br \/>\n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imagima.com\">Chika Iijima<\/a> and Jim Bell;<br \/>\n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nokami.com\">Eric Filion &#8211; Nokami<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/mtrommer\">Michael Trommer<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SIGHTandSOUND is presented in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.share.dj\">Share Montreal<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oboro.net\" target=\"new\">Oboro<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artengine.ca\" target=\"new\">Artengine<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.videographe.qc.ca\" target=\"new\">Videographe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Doors open at 8pm.
